EVOLUTION includes various modules and graphic art improvisations by the graduates of the Department of Book, Illustration, Printed Graphics at the National Academy. The exhibition aims to present the students' achievements in the different registers of their work, representing the learning process, as well as to provide a kind of graphic report and result of their activities. Included are full-colour panels and rolls – sketches, storyboards, scale models, photographs and completed good samples of the students' work in illustration, book composition, printed graphics and font.
The exhibition features 4th-year students: Vycheslava Tashkova, Gabriela Pehlivanova, Desislava Todorova, Elena Genova, Elena Mazneva, Zhulieta Kazakova and Teodora Yordanova. Students pursuing the same programme (different years of study) also exhibit their graphic art projects. The exhibition moderator is their teacher Emil Markov, who encourages his students to show their best examples from among the semester assignments over the years.
