Department Book, Illustration, Printed Graphics

BA degree holders in Book, Illustration, Printed Graphics have acquired, in their four-year course of instruction, fundamental theoretical and practical knowledge and skills, have developed their creative potential and have had the chance of applying their professional expertise in graphic arts, particularly in the design of printed media, advertising, illustration, fonts, typography and printed graphics.
BA degree holders are entitled to working individually as free-lance artists, as well as to be commissioned to work on concepts and practical design; to teach and do consultancy adequate to their professional qualifications and skills.
Those who have also taken courses in Theory and Practice of Education in the Arts as their second speciality, are entitled to teaching fine arts.
MA degree holders of Book, Illustration, Printed Graphics are highly qualified professionals, who have completed the three-term course of training and have fully developed their creative potential and their capabilities in graphic arts, or in design of printed media, in the entire range of genre and artistic diversity of illustration, in typography, computer and printed graphics and advertising. They are also entitled to teaching in higher schools, including higher schools for the arts.
