Department Drawing

The Department of Drawing has on its staff all teachers of the Fine and Applied Arts Faculties who teach drawing, a discipline seminal for the comprehensive curriculum of the National Academy of Art. Laws, structures and relationships in the world around us are subject of analysis and synthesis through the medium of drawing, that ABC of image. Drawing teaches perception of space and structure, in-depth knowledge of the environment with a view of recreating it, and of rethinking of the existing reality in order to achieve materialization of images, concepts and creative ideas.
The Department of Drawing also has on its staff teachers of perspective and anatomy, two disciplines which constitute an integral part of teaching. The teachers are responsible for providing the theoretical foundations of tuition in drawing and of the multi-aspect artistic approaches and solutions of any artistic task.
