NAA SUCCESSFULLY COMPLETED THE OPERATIONAL PROGRAMME HUMAN RESOURCES DEVELOPMENT, FINANCED BY THE EUROPEAN SOCIAL FUND OF THE EUROPEAN UNION
On 26.06.2014, in the Academia Gallery was held the final press conference on BG051PO001-4.3.04-0046 Introduction of Electronic Distance Learning as an Integrated Element of Higher Education by the National Academy of Art. The project is implemented with the financial support of Operational Programme Human Resources Development, co-financed by the European Social Fund of the European Union. NAA announced the results of the project. Realized are targets that ensure high-quality teaching and completing the training of students of all educational degrees. In NAA there is already 20 years of tradition in the use of electronic technology, software and hardware in the learning process of a number of disciplines oriented mostly in the field of design. Based on this tradition and the continuous desire to improve the quality of the learning process, NAA created e-learning platform, characterized by upgrading and integration of various information and communication technologies in traditional educational context. With the platform the Academy raised the standards by creating opportunities for students to reach the training materials in their chosen time and place, personalizing the learning process and the quality of learning. In terms of content and organizational integration of different technologies in the traditional educational context, the implementation was achieved thanks to the 39 teachers – participating in the project in a different ratio of traditional and electronic educational technologies. 
A methodology was developed for unification of methods for creating training content and design of electronic forms complementary to training and organizing special training of the teaching staff of the Academy. Hardware and specialized software is provided; hardware - server and peripherals is delivered and installed; graphics workstation and 3 laptops; scanning and copying equipment – 2 scanner and multifunctional device. The creation of e-learning platform has led to an upgrade in electronics and access in the network of 105 courses in various disciplines.
