Summer Academy 2013 with an exhibition in •Wittgenstein House• – Vienna

On 10 September the Bulgarian Cultural Institute “Wittgenstein House” was opened an exhibition of works of Bachelor graduates from the National Academy of Art. The exhibition was opened by Mr. Borislav Petranov, director of the Bulgarian Cultural Institute “Wittgenstein House” and Professor Victor Paunov, vice-rector of the Academy. The opening attended the Bulgarian Ambassador Hon. Ms. Elena Shekerletova, Professor Marion Elias and professors from the University of Applied Arts, many guests, including Professor Simeon Shterev, who brought a special surprise for the opening – an improvisation on the piano. The exhibition is part of a joint project between the Academy and the “Wittgenstein House”, which includes the implementation of a two-week educational and creative residence for students of the Academy, graduated Bachelors in current academic year. During their creative stay students visit museums, galleries, art academies and cultural attractions.
In 2013, the Summer Academy in Vienna is realized with the support of Societe Generale Expressbank.
Summer Academy, hosted by the “Wittgenstein House” is a two-week educational and creative residence for students of the Academy, graduated Bachelor in current academic year. It includes a workshop and an exhibition of some of their diploma works. During their creative stay students visit museums, galleries, art academies and cultural attractions.
The project is implemented jointly with the Bulgarian Cultural Institute “Wittgenstein House” in Vienna and with the support of Societe Generale Expressbank.
