Akseniya Avramova, Maria Yakimova, and Tetyana Kruglei from the National Academy of Art are recognised in the XVII edition of the National Student of the Year Prize

On the 1st of March 2024, the official awarding ceremony of the 2023 National Student of the Year Prize, organised by the National Representation of Student Councils (NRSC), took place at the University of National and World Economy. The XVII edition was held under the patronage of Academician Nikolay Denkov, Prime Minister of the Republic of Bulgaria, and attended by representatives of the state executive bodies, the academic community, students and guests.
Assoc. Prof. Lyubomil Draganov, PhD, Vice Dean of the Faculty of Fine Arts, and Prof. Manya Vaptsarova, PhD, Vice Dean of the Faculty of Applied Arts and Design, together with members of the Student Council at the National Academy of Art supported the nominated students.
The 2023 National Student of the Year is Trifon Popov from the Medical University in Sofia.
The Art category awardees are two students from the Academy – Akseniya Avramova, Master's degree programme in Digital Arts, and Maria Yakimova, Master's degree programme in Graphic Design. The Painting student Tetyana Kruglei is a nominee in the category "Foreign Student Studying in Bulgaria".
