Exhibition "Fire and Earth" of students from the National Academy of Art at Sveshtolivnitsata Cultural Complex (Village of Sveshtari) under Project "Zones of Contact“

On 11 September 2021, in the village of Sveshtari, in Sveshtolivnitsata (The Candle-Works) Cultural Complex (a unique cultural centre, where the old craft of casting candles has been preserved) was opened the exhibition "Fire and Earth" of Ceramics and Metal students from the National Academy of Art. Their works, created during the artistic residence stay at the ceramics base of Spectrum Ceramics Ltd in Bratsigovo, were exhibited in the open spaces among the impressive sculptural ceramic ensemble and permanent exhibition "Fire – Rite" with works by famous Bulgarian sculptors and painters.
The exhibition is realised under the project "Zones of Contact" of Support for the Art in Bulgaria Foundation with the financial support of Debuts Programme of the National Culture Fund.
