The Board of Trustees of the National Academy of Art established nine awards of BGN 2,000 each for students from the National Academy of Art for their achievements in the field of fine and applied arts, design, theory and history of art, and restoration.
Students from all the departments and courses of study at the Academy were eligible to participate in the competition by sending their freestyle artworks, designs or projects for evaluation.
A commission comprising teachers from the National Academy of Art and members of the Board of Trustees reviewed the submitted works and determined the nominees and award winners.
On 15 April, 4:00 pm, an exhibition of the nominated students who have participated in the competition will be opened, kindly hosted by the San Stefano Gallery. The names of the award winners will be announced during the opening ceremony.
