Fifteen students were awarded from the General Academic Competition "Drawing"

Over 140 students from all courses and departments at the National Academy of Art in Sofia and its Burgas Branch took part in the competition. The exhibition of the selected student works was opened in the Academia Gallery.
The expert jury has selected works by students from the Department of Painting, the Department of Sculpture, and the Department of Printmaking at the National Academy of Art in Sofia and its Burgas Branch. The three competition categories include educational drawings, studies related to the academic speciality, and freestyle student works.
The General Academic Competition "Drawing", organised by the management of the National Academy of Art and the Department of Drawing, aims to stimulate creative activity and present the achievements of students in the field of Drawing. The exhibition in the Academia Gallery reflects the results achieved both in the educational process and in free artistic practice, with all works being realised entirely with classical materials (charcoal, pencil, ink, pastel, chalk).
