Medical University - Plovdiv received a valuable gift from Prof. Georgi Iankov, Rector of the National Academy of Art

Prof. Georgi Iankov, Rector of the National Academy of Art, has  made a valuable gift to the Medical University of Plovdiv by donating the physician's bag of his grandfather Prof. Dr. Georgi Iankov, one of the founders and the first rector (1945-1946) of the Medical University in Plovdiv.

 

The medical bag is going to be a valuable and symbolic exhibit in the permanent exhibition at the future museum of the Medical University in Plovdiv.

 

The event took place on 15 September during the opening of the new academic year at Plovdiv University, where at the invitation of Prof. Dr. Mariana Murdzheva - Rector of MU Plovdiv,  Prof. Iankov was a special guest at the official ceremony.
