For a sixth consecutive year, the Rotary Club Sofia-Balkan and the National Academy of Art jointly held a competition for students from the Faculty of Fine Arts at the Academy.

The jury reviewed and discussed the submitted works and after casting votes determined:
Ivan Telkiev, 1st-year student in Painting (Burgas Branch), as winner of Distinction Award of Rotary Club Sofia-Balkan for 2024
The student will also receive an award amounting to BGN 1,000, an honorary plaquette and certificate for a promising start in realising the 2024 Rotary theme.
Ivan Banchev, 1st-year student in Painting, as Second Place winner
The student will also receive an award amounting to BGN 500, an honorary plaquette and Create Hope in the World certificate.
Anna Stankova, 2nd-year student in Painting, as Third Place winner
The student will also receive an award amounting to BGN 300, an honorary plaquette and certificate.
The awarding ceremony for the 2024 Create Hope in the World competition will take place on 11 June 2024, in Terrace Atelier, 5th floor, New Academic Building, National Academy of Art, 1 Shipka Street, Sofia. The works by all the competition nominees will be on display during the awarding ceremony and available for purchase.
