Students from the Department of Book, Illustration, Printed Graphics at the National Academy of Art participate in a travelling exhibition of illustrations based on the book "Wild Tales" by the Bulgarian author Nikolay Haytov

Students from the Department of Book, Illustration, Printed Graphics at the National Academy of Art present their illustrations for the book "Wild Tales" in a travelling exhibition dedicated to the 105th birth anniversary of the author Nikolay Haytov (1919–2002).
In the period September 3 - 19, 2024, the Pamet Foundation presents a travelling exhibition in the Sredets Gallery where the projects of the students of the National Academy of Art in the Department of Book, Illustration, Printed Graphics will be exhibited, as well as projects of students from the Iliya Petrov National School of Fine Arts in Sofia and the Professional High School of Forestry and Woodworking in Varna.
The student illustrations were realised within the framework of a joint competition of the Memory Foundation and the National Academy of Art, held in July 2024. Thirteen students from the Department of Book, Illustration, Printed Graphics at the National Academy of Art in Sofia and the Burgas Branch took part. The Jury composed of Prof. Viktor Paunov, Assoc. Prof. Regina Dalkalacheva, PhD, Assoc. Prof. Kapka Kaneva, PhD, Ch. Asst. Prof. Boyana Pavlova, PhD, Asst. Prof. Emil Markov, and Zdravets Haytov (representative of the foundation) announced the competition winners: Tina Mihaylova (first prize), Viktoria Ivanova (second prize), Yantar Atanassov (third prize), whereas all the other participants received encouragement prizes.

So far, the exhibition has been presented in the Bulgarian towns of Smolyan, Chepelare, Yavrovo, Asenovgrad, Velingrad, Devin, Zlatograd, Varna, Burgas. At the end of September, the exhibition will be presented in Boris Hristov House of Culture, Plovdiv.
