Students from the Department of Fashion Design at the National Academy of Art in Sofia and the Burgas Branch are the recipients of this year's Golden Needle 2025 scholarships from the Fashion Academy

At an official ceremony, the Fashion Academy presented the BG FASHION ICON 2025 Awards. During the event, the President of the Fashion Academy and long-time teacher in the Department of Fashion Design at the National Academy of Art, Prof. Lyubomir Stoykov, announced the names of this year's scholarship recipients of the Fashion Academy – social mission "Golden Needle 2024". These are Slavomira Kaneva, a second-year student at the National Academy of Art in Sofia, and Dimitar Avramov, a fourth-year fashion design student at the National Academy of Art – Burgas Branch. The students Kristina Ruseva, Rim Ramadan, Sonya Angelova and Martin Hristov also showed their creative proposals. The ceremony was also attended by Prof. Dr. Yana Kostadinova, Head of the Departmenn of Fashion Design, who congratulated the distinguished students and expressed her gratitude to Prof. Stoykov and the Fashion Academy for the successful implementation of the Golden Needle mission – to award cash scholarships to talented and promising fashion design students.
