Students from the Department of Fashion Design will present their designs at the BG FASHION ICON 2026 annual awards ceremony

The ceremony for presenting the Annual Awards of the BG Fashion Icon 2026 Fashion Academy, whose Chair and organiser is Prof. Lyubomir Stoykov, will be held for a seventeenth consecutive year. During the event, designs by students of the Department of Fashion Design at the National Academy of Art will be presented in a performance fashion show.
Participating students from the Department of Fashion Design
Kalin Minev (1st year), Mariela Lyubenova (2nd year), Veneta Pavlova (2nd year), Acheliya Ahmedova (3rd year), Niya Yordanova (4th year) and Teodora Penkova (1st year, Master's degree programme in Fashion Management and Branding), as well as the alumni Maria Rupova and Vanessa Ivanova.
The young designers will prepare their participation under the guidance of Prof. DSc. Lyubomir Stoykov, Dr. Teodora Spassova and the doctoral student Ivanina Ivanova, Department of Fashion Design, National Academy of Art.
