The National Academy of Art and Sofia University "St. Kliment Ohridski" will sign a Memorandum of Cooperation in the Fields of Science, Education and Arts

On 30 January 2026 (Friday), at 11:00 am, in Academia Gallery, a Memorandum of Cooperation will be signed between and by two of the oldest and most authoritative higher education institutions in Bulgaria – Sofia University “St. Kliment Ohridski” and the National Academy of Art.
The official document will be initialed by the Rectors of the two institutions – Prof. Georgi Valchev, PhD, and Prof. Georgi Iankov. The agreement marks the beginning of a new strategic partnership aimed at exchanging experience and implementing joint initiatives in the fields of science, education and arts.
During the event, an honorary plaque of Sofia University will be presented, which is to be awarded for merits to the University. The graphic and plastic design is a project of Assoc. Prof. Nenko Atanasov, PhD, and Ch. Asst. Prof. Ventsislav Shishkov, PhD, from the National Academy of Art.
