The National Academy of Art will participate as exhibitor in the 19th edition of the International Fair EXPOMEBEL 2025

The National Academy of Art will participate in the 19th edition of the International Exhibition for Furniture, Interior Textile and Home Accessories EXPOMEBEL, which will be held from 18 to 21 February 2025 at Inter Expo Center – Sofia.

 

The stand of the Academy has number D9 and is located in Hall 3 of the Inter Expo Center – Sofia.

 

At its stand, the Academy will present projects and works of students from the Department of Industrial Design, the Department of Design for Children's Environment and the Department of Textiles – Art and Design at the Faculty of Applied Arts and Design. The panels will be showcasing design projects, interior and children's furniture designs as well as works in the field of interior design–design and implementation in digital printing and screen printing materials for interiors; hand-woven bedding fabrics and hand-woven textiles.

 

As part of the accompanying programme of the international forum, on 19 February 2025, from 1:00 to 1:30 pm, in the seminar hall in Exhibition Hall 4, Sen. Asst. Prof. Raya Gaytandzhieva, PhD, Department of Design for Children's Environment, National Academy of Art, will deliver a lecture on the topic of Design for Children's Environment–Means of Expression.

 

EXPOMEBEL is a specialised exposition for all types of furniture and interior textiles, it is a forum for meetings and generating new ideas related to interior design, interior architecture and furnishing. The expo aims to bring together different styles, classic and modern furniture, boutique and designer furniture, to create a palette of opportunities, thanks to which the consumer can get answers and make a choice among the leading Bulgarian manufacturers and representatives of foreign brands.
