XVIII International Youth Arts Festival VIA PONTICA – Balchik, 2025

The National Academy of Art will be represented with a number of events at the Eighteenth International Youth Arts Festival VIA PONTICA, which will be held in Balchik between the 7th and the 14th of September 2025.
On 8 September 2025, two exhibitions with the participation of the Academy were opened at the Art Gallery – Balchik.
The anniversary exhibition 60 Years of Industrial Design Education in Bulgaria traces the development of the department at the National Academy of Art, founded in 1964 as "Industrial Forms", and presents study projects, diploma projects and photographs of events from the last ten years.
A joint exhibition Painting with works by the students Georgi Yanchev, Magdalena Zamova, Anna Stankova and Nikol Hristova from the National Academy of Art, as well as their colleagues from the National University of Arts in Bucharest, Romania. The students' participation will be complemented by a second exhibition to be opened on 13 September, which will present works created during an art plein air held at the Cultural Center "The Palace" within the framework of the festival.
The festival programme also includes classical music, cinema, theatre and literature events.
The festival is organised by the Municipality of Balchik and Via Pontica Association with the support of the Ministry of Culture of the Republic of Bulgaria and the State Cultural Institute – Cultural Center "The Palace".
