One-year scholarships for postgraduate studies in Bavaria AY 2021/2022
The Free State of Bavaria sponsors an annual scholarship programme with the objective to promote scientific cooperation and academic exchange between Bavaria and Central, Eastern and Southeastern European states. The programme is implemented by the Bavarian University Center for Central, Eastern and Southeastern Europe BAYHOST (www.bayhost.de).
The scholarships are intended to finance postgraduate studies, e.g. Master's programmes, PhDs or a one-year research sojourn at state or state-funded universities in Bavaria. Graduate students from the above-mentioned countries, including Bulgaria, are eligible to apply for the one-year scholarships for the academic year 2021/2022. The scholarship can be extended twice for up to 3 academic years. The amount of EUR 10,236 per year will be paid out in twelve equal installments of EUR 853. Students with one or more children will receive EUR 1,013 per month, which amounts to EUR 12,156 per year.

Application documents must be sent via regular mail by 1 December 2020 (date of receipt!) to the address specified in the Important advice downloadable file.
Late or incomplete applications will not be considered.
