The National Academy of Art took part in "I Choose to Study in Bulgaria" Educational Forum in the city of Burgas

On 14 March 2026, the National Academy of Art took part with own expo stand in the educational forum "I Choose to Study in Bulgaria". The event took place at the Tria Space Conference Centre in the Central Park of Burgas. 16 Bulgarian universities and over 20 schools from the Burgas region participated in the forum.
 
The official opening was attended by the Chair of the Burgas Municipal Council, Mr Mihail Hadzhiyanev, the Deputy Mayor for Culture in the Burgas Municipality, Ms Diana Savateva, the Head of the Regional Education Department – Burgas, Ms Valentina Kamalieva, the Chair of the Committee on Science, Innovation and Operational Programmes at the Municipal Council and Deputy Rector of the Bulgarian State University "Prof. Dr. Assen Zlatarov", Prof. Sevdalina Turmanova, the Director of the Education and Youth Policies Directorate at the Burgas Municipality, Ms Katya Misheva, teachers, students and visitors.
 
The Academy was presented by lecturers and employees of the National Academy of Art – Burgas Branch: Ch. Asst. Prof. Zhanina Dubarova, PhD, Ch. Asst. Prof. Hristo Ivanov, PhD, Preslava Kazakova and Gergana Zlatanova. At the meetings with high school students, their parents and teachers, they presented the educational offer at the National Academy of Art (Sofia and Burgas Branch), the prep courses and consultations for applicants, the admission requirements, the opportunities for Erasmus+ mobilities and participation in international art residencies and symposia, and the prospects for professional realisation.
 
"I Choose to Study in Bulgaria" is realised with the assistance of Burgas Municipality, Centre for Support of Personal Development – Burgas, Career Development Centre of the city of Burgas and Central Park Burgas.
